August and Summer in general are months where refurbishments take place in the metro, so many lines are partially closed, and it's difficult to get around. Oh, have you seen how Laietana Street is? It's impossible to walk there!

will be in Barcelona mid August and will be staying in a hotel in distrito de Sants-Montjuïc. This is my first time going and wondering if it will be difficult to get around to the heart of the city?

Very easy. Connected by line 1 & 3. Many buses And you can walk if you like
