Converting Between Degrees and Radians Made Easy!
In this video, we dive into converting angles between degrees and radians. We start by establishing the fundamental relationship: π radians equals 180 degrees. From this, we learn how to convert any angle from degrees to radians and vice versa. We’ll work through practical examples like converting 120° to radians and 𝜋/4 radians to degrees, making the process simple and intuitive. Understanding these conversions is crucial in trigonometry and calculus!

Thanks for this. My son and I are learning C programming language and it does not work with degrees but with radians. Since I graduated in the mid 80's from high school, I forgot all about it. Now I can look like a hero to my son because I know how to convert it now. I will slip some credit back to you. Thanks.

You explain radians in a way that makes it EASY TO UNDERSTAND, INTERPRET, & APPLY!! Finally!!!! Thank you!! Everybody else skipped some very important little things that either make or break this concept.

Thank you! I'm in pre calc working on converting rectangular to polar and we had express angels in radians which I've had trouble with for the longest and this was exactly what I needed to figure it out

Thank you, thank you, thank you so much!! My teacher explained going from degrees to radians by logic, and I did not understand. Mathematically, this makes so much more sense =). I was wondering if you also have a video on going from degrees back to radians?

@screamscream12345 I think If he mention the relation between Circumference and Diameter and the formula AND that there are four quadrants and 2 radii (making the half, whole, one and a half and 2) - it would make the formulae a lot easier to understand.

Why is it that radians must be used in calculus instead of degrees? I read somewhere that it has to do with the fact that degrees are essentially a made up unit whereas radians just work so to speak, but i still don't fully understand it.
