If Hollywood had shown him for what he was really about in life he might have lost a few females (doubtful but possibly) but he would've picked up so many more male fans. 90% of men are haters though and I don't see that changing for the better anytime in the near future. Otherwise we'd all been fans of his. If the men who spoke badly about him would have had a peak into his legitimate character the hate would have waned and he would have had the respect of a huge majority of the male consumers of the Big Screen too.

Hang on, nearly 40 years?! This song was on Dirty Dancing, which came out in 87, the year I was born. That was NOT nearly 40 years ago. People keep insisting it's right but it doesn't sound right to me, it's been about 25 years at most 😅 anyway, I'm still only 36 in this alternate reality so got a little way to go til 40 but it still doesn't sound right. It's gone WAY too quickly.
