Always great to see another Conehead (no not the Dan Aykroyd movie 😀). Never had Dirge as a kid, but I've always loved the sleek alt mode and colour scheme. I enjoyed your recent review if the Earthrise two pack of Dirge and Ramjet, and it was great to see the updated version of the character. Looking forward to see what they do with an updated Thrust.

This was the first and only G1 seeker i had as a boy. My mom got him for my 10th birthday. So i have a soft spot for him.

Had a toys r us Dirge reissue. Just got the Walmart exclusive g1 Starscream! I like that a lot more.

Dirge's voice performance was hilarious. I love the way he delivered his lines, sometimes not knowing if I should feel sorry for him or I should laugh (the whole "Mayday" moment of Hoist Goes Hollywood just leaves me giggling like a loon to no end).

Dirge the only conehead I missed as a kid. I think he did comeback in G2 and died by the swarm. Later IDW was killed by Beast Wars Rampage right after saving two allies. Great review.

Perfect G1 Transformer, Dirge was always one of my favorites. The Commemorative reissue is actually of better quality then the original, at least on mine. One of the better executed reissues by Hasbro.

Well, this figure's got a reason for you to remove the wings, it's so that they're oriented properly. Most G1 seekers don't really have a reason for you to do so, it's mainly a 'Oh, it's just easier that way' kind of thing.
