Fizzle and Guzzle have amazing head sculpts. These guys deserve the modern Core Class treatment, or even deluxe like the recent Minibot updates to justify better paint for their awesome faces.

Man these guys and the firecins would love to see uodates of. Core class or uoped to minibot scale deluxe is the debate. I dont thing got these cause well dogs hair catching a spark was a oarents fear. Even though i had a firecon 🤷 Great nostalgic review here.

My very first G1 Marvel TF comic i had was 1988's Issue #46. Which i think was the first appearence of the Sparkabots. Back in the day i also had Guzzle, the little tank. He was pretty neat looking.

I actually have Fizzle and I took it apart just now and you can access the Flint to it by prying the plastic on the top carefully, however a Zippo Flint maybe too small for it. Aside from that Fizzle is pretty good, same issue with the stress marks on the spoiler, which I'll try the hair dryer trick and see if it works. Great review!

You could try taking them apart and see if you can replace the flint for the spark gimmick.

I have that Guzzle also. He has a few design elements taken from his IDW appearance which is pretty cool because I got him specifically to add to my Last Stand of the Wreckers collection.

Just please note that the barrel of the tank is super thin so avoid being rough with that part of Guzzle, also similar to his G1 figure, DotM Guzzle doesn't role to well in tank mode, due the wheels being small.

Yeah, I had Guzzle and Flamefeather as a kid, and wasn't impressed by their lack of transforming ability. I do still like the detail on Guzzle, though.

Guzzle was in the comic The Last Stand of the Wreckers. Which is just an amazing story! He definitely fits in as a Wrecker. I think there's some part of my brain that remembers owning sizzle as a really young kid that was unlocked from watching this video.... hmmm....

Really like the Sparkabots, love the names and the gimmick is great. The figures are heavily compromised by it but they’re still great. Guzzle is my favourite too.

ive had sizzle for DECADES and had no idea the chrome engine came off ! :D :D :D he's the only one of these i got cause i love the vehicle mode. reminds me of mad max's interceptor from road warrior. he sure would appreciated a flame thrower in that !

Love these gimmicky figures. Sizzles hood is easily broken as well as that engine being missing. He's probly the toughest of the 3 to find Complete but still inexpensive. Glad to see these awesome g1s get some love.

Fairly sure I had the blue one, perhaps the tank also or perhaps even both the other two, I was pretty young so it's tough to remember but I vaguely recall the blue one being my favourite of these to play with anyway and one thing I do remember is the odd gear at the bottom which I'm quite sure never worked even back then at least on ours. Always wondered what that was meant to do. Nice to finally find out. Cheers my man. I do remember a friend I spent a lot of time with that also liked Transformers who's slightly older seemed to know but it's not really something I registered having never seen it probably presuming it was something like the ones that had those pullback friction gear wheels that could shoot them forward which of course it doesn't and didn't which accounts for me being puzzled causing him to offer an explanation I failed to understand at the time remaining something of a puzzle to me nonetheless all the way to this day it does seem. Good times.

I had Flamefeather as a kid but always wanted a Guzzle figure. I was always looking for Autobots that had more "military" firepower in their vehicle modes. Unfortunately the Sparkabots were pulled from shelves locally here, 1:47 thanks to their ability thanks to overprotective non mother groups. I'm now hunting for more G1 figures... I'm trying to think if this is a good thing or a bad think but im not finding anything wrong yet.

Also I thought mine didn't work because I was spinning the wheel by hand but when I put them down and pushed them on the table quickly I was surprised to see sparks coming out give it a try!

Guzzle is the best of the bunch imho, but is pretty lame that they didn't design him to shoor sparks from the front. You may use the spare rusted Fizzle as guinea pig to repair the spark mechanism.
