It's amazing that a simple ankle rotation fixed the"feet hanging out the ass end of tank mode". With how many versions of this Megatron we have you'd think Hasbro would've figured that out.

Those feet hanging out the back were always the worst, that ankle rotation idea that you used made it soooo much better.

A "Buckler" shield like the one Earthrise Megatron came with would finish off the filled-in look in tank-mode.

Very cool additions they made to the mold with the wrist covers and ankle rotations. Great review as always 👍

Would be sooooooo cool to get the jumbo Megs with a shiny metallic finish! Might have to order this and paint it myself! He could stand toe to toe with mp 36 masterpiece Megatron (best ever made) and look great too. And wow, what the ankle pivots do for alt mode is a beautiful thing!

I bought this figure a while back, specifically for the look of the forearm covers (although mine are gray instead of black like yours) that after 7+ repaints/retools of the original Siege Mold (included the Shattered Glass version) did not have. If only we'd get at least that, plus the wrist rotation, I'd be happy. That said, holy crap! I missed that I had ankle rotation on mine?! Pretty neat, bro! Great review! Keep up the great work, man! =P

The version you got was probably the BPF version.

@@DiggitySlice Agreed. I think these were more of a CAD file theft, than an actual mold to make these. They're too perfect of a duplication.

That’s a big-un!!! That’s amazing with the arm flaps and ankle rotation. At least someone got it right. I’ll never tell folks where to spend their dough on transforming robots, and I think your “we all have Google” is a fair way to go about it. Before the Studio 86 Dinobots were announced I got the Deformation versions of the PotP Dinobots, oversized and all. They are actually better than the real deals and the joint are nice and tight. Unlike a few of my legit Dinobots. When 3rd Party/KO bots have better QC than Hasbro… Yep, we’re in Bizzaro Times.

My only issue with this figure is that the mountain of third party accessories for the official WFC Megatron will either look out of place or not fit. But a huge Megatron that has the extra foot transformation and wrist covers out of the box is very tempting.

Probably unlikely that they are. Last I checked, AOYI were busy supersizing Studio Series figures. I think they released a supersized Sentinel Prime recently.

There was a time when KO and 3rd party meant cheap and crappy. That did happen right?
@PatriotPrimeReviews3 жыл бұрын
But it's not; I've had my fair share of "Cheap & Crappy" KOs . This is not one of them. This is a nice solid toy, if it was a piece of garbage I would've said so.

@@PatriotPrimeReviews I own a couple 3rd party stuff and they're more sturdy and durable than any Hasbro ones. Better plastic and thicker too.
@shanehai26993 жыл бұрын
MOSTLY... 3rd Party has never really been cheap OR crappy, not in quality, nor in price... MOSTLY. (Like with ANYTHING, there are, of course, exceptions but THOSE are few and far between.) KO's on the other hand, DID used to be cheap and crappy, and there ARE STILL cheap and crappy KO toys, but you'll pretty much find THOSE definitions of. "KO" at places like Dollar Tree. However, in recent years, like the past 10 or so, the new definition of "KO" is NOT the cheap & crappy KO's of old, but INSTEAD are 99% of the time, AS GOOD a quality, OR usually BETTER quality, than the source toy being KO'd... And for a MUCH cheaper price! Yes, high(er) quality AND a cheaper price!!! Speaking as someone who's bought the cheap dollar store $#!t, (for parts fodder or stand in toys), AND who owns and routinely buys the newer awesome KO's, to fill in slots for my collection that Hasbro would probably never bother to address, or as custom base material figures, I can definitely say, there's NOTHING cheap about how modern quality KO's are made.
