I left Oklahoma and drove to Alaska. I camped all the way in my ovs rtt. Love every minute. I go all across Alaska and am happy to have it. Only wish it had a removable insulated layer.

Great video! Will the tent get moldy or smelly if it remains installed and folded in the truck for daily use?

Hey. Is extending the overhang extension necessary for setting up this tent? Or can it just be a normal soft shell with that option to extend that piece if you want to

@TheLimit84 this is the extended version... it you don't want that extention you order the regular version

All I can come up with is a cover for the ladder as it's the same length. I guess maybe to help deter kids or animals from climbing up it when unattended

@@tylerfitterer9947thats what ive been wondering too. i havent tried it yet but maybe it covers the ladder to make it easier to climb? like padding? i have no clue lol

​@remysenpai definitely not padding. But it slides in in between the shoe bags and then you can tie it at the bottom.

My concern is the weight limit of the rack is 500 pounds. I weight 200 and with the tent and other gear, wouldn't that push the max?

The capacity is 500lb ON ROAD, that means while driving.....the static weight capacity while parked is far more !!

The static weight limit, I believe, is 800 lbs.
