The FJ49 is a powerful fusion between an immaculately restored 1945 LandCruiser, with the full engine and driveline capabilities of Australia’s most reliable vehicle to date, a modern-day 79 Series LandCruiser, built by Ashton and Christian. After conquering the Australian 4x4 scene, the twins are going to showcase this LandCruiser on the world's biggest stage - SEMA 2022 in the United States.

I posted this on your last video, but posting again because I feel so strongly about my comment... WOW !!! - That is great news - The boys deserve to be recognised for the FJ49 - I saw it at the Brisbane 4x4 show this year, and the boys were so humble and nice when I congratulated them on their build. To be invited by Toyota is a HUGE achievement !!! They, like so many Aussies and viewers, recognise the talent and vision that went into the build. Great work - I'm really happy to hear of this amazing recognition !!! I literally finished watching the last video 15 minutes ago and then this new video was posted... keep posting new videos guys, I love them all :)

Great job on the video all! Thanks for making it. As excited as I am to see the Black Truck and the 6x6, this is the truck I am most anxious to see over here. I don't know if it was with Ashton from the beginning of this project, or it was hammered into him over the course of the build, but it looks like he has already absorbed the lesson that excellence demands effort. So to see him get recognized for that effort, it gives a little bit of vindication to those of us that spend just a little too much time on the little details. Great work. Because Justin and Sara have been so open by sharing their lives with us for all these years, it's almost as though they have invited us into their family. We've all watched these kids grow up. We've all seen them deal with disappointment, so when we see them accomplish their goals, it makes us even more excited for them. Obviously, these kids don't need any more uncles, but to all the people at the Patriot Team, know that you have family here in the States, and you are most welcome here. I'll be at SEMA for sure, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed for a meet-and-greet for the Las Vegas Locals somewhere out in the desert. We've got a lot of trails and camping close by, and some pretty rad ghost towns. Might be worth having your logistics coordinator take a look if they haven't already.

Well what can I say ?. I have been watching you guys little bits here and there and the effort and time that everybody put in and all come together as one team to get the job done. Justin & Sara I take my hat off to you guys most respect for what you have done with everybody at your workshop.. Justin, this might be a little bit late but what I'm about to say it's never too late. Justin you are not just a husband to your wife and a father to the kids. You are more than that my friend but a hell of a lot more you are the Rock, You Are The Shining lights, you hold your ground and you steer everybody in the right direction. Your also the anchor of your family and team. It’s a business promotion channel based around products they produce and those channels never gain attention. Most of the attention came from the mega 6x6 build and since then nothing else to that level has come out of the channel. Consistency in uploads is low enough to not work with the KZbin algorithm to be pushed to viewers feeds. The demographic is mainly Australia and viewership is low in the country compared to the UK/North America and Central Europe. There’s many reasons why they haven’t cracked it but still, over 200k is a milestone for any Australian car channel. Look at Might Car Mods, it took over 10 years to make a few million subscribers making videos consistently with multiple eye catching builds that appeal to a variety of demographics. Others like Ronny Dahl and Built not bought are a lot more consistent in uploads and base each upload to be an eye catcher but even still haven’t crack a million. It’s a shame this channel and many other car channels don’t catch the attention to more overseas viewers because personally I think the car scene especially the 4x4 scene here is the best in the world. The builds here are simply unmatched mainly I think because majority of peoples builds are daily driven. Most are doing well for the situation in comparison to say a US based channel. But it does seem to take a lot more effort if you are to reach the same heights as MCM.

@@riamriam6758 I think that is very fair and considered commentary. I do however think it is a shame that youtube promotion is based on consistency of content posting rather than the content itself. I am in no way affiliated with Patriot, but in my personal opinion, they have done so much more than just build a 6x6 - their campers are the "Ferrari" of campers - at least thats how fellow Aussies think of their products... and the FJ49 is nothing but a functional, beautiful and jealousy-inducing work of art (in my opinion). And the fact the FJ was put together by a couple of boys finishing high-school is amazing. I do acknowledge they had a lot of help from their parents and contacts in the industry, but that does not diminish their achievement. I know personally at that age, I had not achieved anything close to what they have done. Another aspect of Patriot that I think a lot of viewers love, is the Patriot family bond, supportiveness of each other, and that they share both their products and their family life with viewers... I am very lucky personally that I have wonderful parents and sisters who are always supportive of each other. I love seeing this support and love for each other, when watching Patriot videos and I am sure many others do also. It is always heart-warming to see the love and support Justin and Sarah openly display towards their children, and also extend their affection to their employees... I think these days, most people long to be part of such a work or family environment. I also think it is worth considering the possibility (and in my opinion, more of a likelihood), that the Patriot team are primarily focussed on delivering the best product they can for their customers, and the youtube channel is more of a side venture to share their ventures with the public domain (and gain extra exposure to their brand - but there's nothing wrong with that). I'm guessing their subscriber base will increase substantially after the Americans see the FJ49 and after they are exposed to this lovely family. Anyway, just my 2c

Have to ask the question that plagues me every time I see a car put in a container, or enclosed trailer. How on earth do you drive in then get out the door? Or is it just for skinny bastards? Loving the extra episodes though. Getting the recognition for the effort and creativity that's been put into the FJ49 is amazing. Also, more importantly, the relationship you have with your kids Justin is amazing. I hope to be that kind of dad to my kids as they grow, so much support and obvious love in the family, it's incredible. Thanks again for the insight into your families life.

Size isn't everything (at least, that's what I tell myself lol). They are different vehicles with different merits. There's a Mercedes 6x6 worth over 1mil. Cool car but one would look like a bit of a tosser driving that. Anyone driving the Patriot boys' FJ is instantly cool. Period!
