Superbowl 49 will always have a special place in my heart, first Pat's Superbowl win I watched live. After both the Giants Superbowls, after all the disappointing seasons. All came down to the Butler interception, I will never forget that. I broke down into tears when he made that play, Tears of Joy. Love this team.

That one play absolutely changed the course of NFL history. He doesn't make that play, it's totally possible that the Patriots continue a loser mentality in the big moments, and never come back against Atlanta. Not only that, but Seahawks were young, talented, and confident - they could (should) have been on a dynasty run. But this fractured their team, and they never recovered.

So I’m a Bostonian. I moved to Chicago in 2014 after 8 years as a US Navy Submariner. My wife is a Chicago native. The day of this super bowl we had a blizzard that felt like back home. The Friday before the game, I drove by Lincoln way central high school and a sign said “GOOD LUCK ROB GO PATS!” I found out I lived 3 miles from ROB NINKOVICHS high school! In July on 2015, 2 months before my wedding, I met him at an autograph signing and for my best man, he signed a picture of him sacking Mark Sanchez and the caption said “ JETS SUCK.”

The dumb thing about delfategate is the Clots are claiming The Patriots used under inflated footballs in the first half of the game when they actually played better in the second half. It kind invalidates the whole thing.

Ultimately, it was a fake scandal. I still believe that 5 yrs later. Had Goodell not dropped the ball with Ray Rice and AP earlier in 2014, maybe Deflategate never becomes a thing. At least the Cowboys and Saints (mainly due to the no call vs the Rams) have since experienced how we felt at the time.
