That is 6 new players, plus improvement on our depth. Moreover, we need a better coach and support staff. Realistically, I would be happy with a 7-10 record next year, then 9-8 the next year.

Not saying mayo did a good job but keeping Elliot Wolf who brought back and resigned everyone from a 4 win team and he gets to keep his job tells me the Kraft's haven't learned anything the last 5 seasons. Cause a new head coach and coordinator every year has done other young QBs so well In the past, see Mac Jones, Baker , Trevor Lawrence and on.

@@chadbinette3201 sometimes a team can’t realistically support multiple elite players. There is this thing called cap space and franchise elite QBs eat a lot of that up. And those examples of yours went to better teams with known good QBs. An elite receiver, even a greedy one, needs to know who’s throwing to him and what the offense looks like. They definitely had multiple offers out there and no takers, including a crazy contract for Aiyuk who basically laughed at the Patriots.

I think he was fired before the game and Kraft let him coach the final game out of respect and it being the right thing to do. If my speculation is accurate, then I think that’s totally fine on the Krafts, it’s not his fault if Mayo wanted to go out and win the game to spite the draft pick thing. I do believe there is value in ending things with integrity.

I think that will be addressed once #2 is resolved. I can't see letting the DISASTER that was last year's draft have any chance of happening again. (Pick 2 and on. All of them) We need three starters out of this draft. If it's the same guy picking, Morgan Freeman help us.
