I just got my first great one whitetail on Layton and I got a silver piebald and a gold mela before my great one too. Took me two weeks but I had to find the zones and setup first. I'm well on my way to fallow great one on Te Awaroa now.

I used to think putting my map in multiplayer will help me finding zones easier. Until my red deer zones in te awaro were deleted and I stopped playin multi with my own maps. Now I just focus on only playin on my own map and grindin red deer. I can see several 8 mythicals now and a 9 legendary which I have been stackin. I shoot only big 5s to 7 red deer to manage them. DO you think I should shoot 8 mythicals for grindin for Great one? This is my first great one grind I have been doin for few weeks.

Maybe it’s just me but using the 300 on Fallows & Whitetails is too much of an exploit...blurs the line of cheating. The devs created the class system for a reason...and tracking kills is a part of hunting. I’ve unsubbed from every streamer that’s using the exploit.

That is the farthest thing from an exploit lol. And I think its pretty clear that this is not a hunt I'm doing, this is a grind. And when I grind I only care about being as efficient as I can. When I'm doing normal hunts of course I use the right rifle. Anything that is not a great one grind I would be using the right rifles.
