That 1993 team was bad but still had a pro bowl left tackle in Armstrong, a young Ben Coates and a former pro bowler Marv Cook at TE, the rookie of the year from 1991 at Rb in Leonard Russell and at least two passable WRs in Timpson and Brisby. Maye is working with so much less.

Mayo is definitely not like Parcells. Mayo is everyone’s buddy, he can’t manage a game. Parcells was the opposite. I loved those Giants teams that Parcells (and Belichick) were a part of, tough, disciplined etc.

Ain't no 4 years OLB's coach gonna build any "culture" in NE. Dude is Super inexperienced and he doesn't have it and it's clear to see. If he can't motivate young players to play he's useless. And it's obvious by the constant penalties and miscommunication that this team isn't being coached rite. Imagine knowing almost all the players, coached for Belichek, knew you were drafting a rookie QB and still be this lost and unprepared this far into the season? Inexcusable.

I am sorry Greg, but when you include the two turn overs into Drakes down you also have to include the penalties to Lowe and then he was definitely a down. But when I listen to you it seems you were very high on him this week. Yes the turnovers especially the strip sacks are a big problem for Drake, 💯 agree. But it doesn‘t matter if Lowe played good the most time but had so much penalties which killed good plays by the offense and throw them back many yards so Drake and the rest of the offense has to deal with it.
