If we had known how hostile this place is, we would never have volunteered. It all sounded so good. Saturn's moon Titan had just been terraformed, and the High Command had lured us with the promise of a new life in a pristine place full of possibilities. But our joy was short-lived. Soon we were told that instead of a modern science academy, the endless wasteland was our place of work, and instead of research in the lab, the extraction of metals and other resources from the huge mine shafts was the order of the day. At least we made it back out there after a while, onto the speeders patrolling the surface. I don't know where we go from here, but it can only get better.
