Thank you Pat for the year long daily dose of ‘quiltiness’. I’ve enjoyed your company especially as I have very few friends who quilt nowadays. One needs the motivation of hearing other thoughts and processes to keep the creative juices flowing so thank you again.

Shortly before you broke both your wrists I broke my right wrist with other injuries so I wasstep in step with you during casting, your surgery, physical therapy, etc. then in December I found out that the awful fall that broke my wrist and cause concussion etc. tore out the remainder of my rotator cuff so now I have had a reverse shoulder replacement February 19, 2021. I listen to this video and I thank you for being there for all of us during the pandemic and beyond because quilting is our world. Pat, thank you. We have a mutual friend, Suzanne, who introduced me to your quilting and I hope you felt my prayers for you during our mutual times of recuperation.

First, thank you for sharing your processing and decision making - very, very helpful for me. Second, your daily videos have become a staple for me, especially on the darkest days this winter. You are a caring and giving person to keep this up for a year. For heaven's sake, girl - take time off for yourself and your hubby! Now that it's kind of warming up here, I am looking forward to walking and meeting family members in parks again. There is hope again. Thank you, Pat, for helping to bring us through this.

THANK YOU PAT & GREG for a year of keeping me and others company. You are my breakfast or dinner entertainment. I really appreciate your time and your challenges. Here is my challenge to you, PLEASE don't put a shamrock on that runner, it is so nice and on the modern side. Also, play with the curve stitch, if you increase something ( I believe) you will get a funky wave that will add to the modern look of this runner and other projects. Thank you.

And what a year it has been for everyone. Your videos helped me so much - I watch them every day (or almost every day). Your fortitude, grace, and positive attitude shined brightly during your recovery from your broken wrists. Inspiring. And yes I am behind in the sew alongs, and yes I will get them done in 2021. I plan to make the March blocks as leaders & enders while I sew on other projects. Thank you for all you do for all of us.

Loved the decision making process you shared. Like your decision to use the lighter outside. Believe it will be a cute quilt. In watching though for me the yellow and pink blocks would have worked well too if the scale do the black and white prints were the same. Love to polka dots but they were just too big to pop your center and didn’t play well with the black and white in the pink block. Thank you for this past year. You amazed me. You are a rock star. You didn’t miss a beat when you broke your wrists. Like many I have been very isolated during this pandemic. Living alone and being able to see your smiling face and hear your cheery voice each day helps get me through. You certainly deserve a vacation. I hope you can do that soon.

I didn't do the May Rainbow quilt last year as I didn't have enough of any of the colors/backgrounds to do it. So for the first time, I printed off the coloring sheet of the March Hope to play with :) I decided to use red, orange, yellow, blue, green & purple for my center blocks & colored them out diagonally similar to the Rainbow pattern. Will use what creams & whites I have on hand for the next row even if I only have enough to do the smaller strips out of one & longer strips out of another. Will then use reds/pinks for the red blocks & shades of the other colors for those blocks. I think my favorite of your layout is the darker centers next to the light rows or the last one-light center, darker next then light!! Your fabrics are so fun :) Thank you for a year of fun, giggles & sanity :) And YES, you deserve a day off WHENEVER you want :)

I like the idea of the quilt and the blocks. I have always been called too rigid and symmetrical ( end tables on both sides of couch, table lamps and mats on each table and coffee table in middle). Chair and or recliner on each side. almost 72 and still way symmetrical, so please take the next part of this kindly as it is meant. I like the white inner better than the color , but where you have the swans with the big dots, when I look at it , it actually throws me off. When you put the teal square over the swans it had a totally different effect on me. I loved it. Swans with large dots resembled “angry looking face with mustache “ which blended into the dots. Not sure if I’m just weird and it only affected me , but just wanted to give you my heads up.
