I'79 and 60 years ago, I "was in love" with Patsy-Anne. She appeared regularly on Bandstand, a TV show in Sydney the 1960's.

I am 65 and I never heard this song before. Like a lot of people I came here because of the (30 second?) snippet I heard on the Heineken commercial. I had to look her up on Wikipedia and as of this writing (Tuesday December 3, 2019) she is 75 years old and is still active as, primarily, an actress. She's even appeared in a Star Wars movie (Episode III). Hopefully this brings her more good things to her (that is if the Force is indeed still with her)!

I love this song. Patsy Ann Noble had a lovely voice & was a cracking looking hot babe. She deserved greater success as a singer before she took up as an actress & & changed her name to Trisha Noble!.

Its worth the money.Who do you think is pretending to play the drums? .The Film reminds us of how our mum's and Dads viewed the 60's, and for myself as a red blooded teen of 17 a,good old fashioned"snog" in the back row was a must.,

Fun fact, Trisha Noble play'd Natile Portman's mother in Star Wars EP 2. Her character was Jobal Naberrie. She was the mother of Padme Amidala (play’d by Natalie Portman) and Sola Amidala (play’d by Keira Knightley)
@LeonardoRed15 Жыл бұрын
"Amidala" was the name used by Padme during her reign as queen, and Sola Naberrie was played by Claudia Karvan.

This is a Health And Safety Nightmare. Walking down stairs in stiletto shoes,attempting to climb one of the ladders in the same shoes aswell. Was a risk assessment carried out before this film was made? It would NEVER happen today.She should also have been wearing a helmet just in case she tripped on those stairs and landed on her head We can all be very thankful that during filming no accident did happen. Patsy was very lucky indeed not to sustain a physical inujury on this shoot

poor Patsy, she had far more talent and better material than many other female singers of the time, but never the seccess that she deserved. perhaps a retrospective collection of her work is overdue.
@sonofalbasteelman38429 жыл бұрын
I agree that the British era of her career was something of a disaster, "Accidents Will Happen" and her appearance in "Danger Man" is the best that it got. And you can't really blame her. I mean it would be the record company's decision to release "So Tied Up with Mary", a truly appalling song that was already passe, as an A-side, when the hit record ,"Green Eyed People", was on the B side. But that's the British music business for you. Also, "Death Is a Woman" is not the best film ever made...unless you're into black bed sheets. Having Anita Harris as a night club singer seems illogical when you have Patsy Ann Noble in the cast. But that's the British film industry for you.

Accidents will happen when you least expect them Accidents will happen time and time again You think you’ve got it planned You think you’re in command But accidents will happen now and then I didn’t mean to be a fool for you I didn’t mean to love you but I do I only wanted to have some fun for a week or two Then do it all again with someone new but Accidents will happen when you least expect them Accidents will happen time and time again You think you’ve got it planned You think you’re in command But accidents will happen now and then I never thought that you could thrill me so But you must reap whatever you may sow And after playing my games with you, a lesson I have learned That she who plays with fire will soon get burned I don’t need a crystal ball to see You’ll never ever give your heart to me I must be crazy to ever dream you’d love me in return But better men than you have had to learn that Accidents will happen when you least expect them Accidents will happen time and time again You think you’ve got it planned You think you’re in command But accidents will happen now and then, now and then But accidents will happen now and then.
