Well pal I was there 25 years ago. The club and bars all looks better, and so do the girls. Fun in my early 20's wouldn't be now. When I was there, the streets were dirt, and the bar girls were skinny, looked like they needed money for food The bars were very primative, metal poles holding up the roof, kickboxers fighting in a ring for tips. I remember in 1 bar the "toilet" was a bathtub, full of piss and turds.

Some may negotiate price, some may not. Beach Road ladies will be happy with 1000 baht ( $30 USA).

You are the buyer and she is the seller. Yes, it is like any market. You can negotiate. During low season or economic recession you got more leverage. Prices are the highest at stock market tops. Picking up a freelancer at 3am will be easier on your finances than getting a superstar bar girl at 8pm to spend the night with you. Before you go, research prices. Once there, do a quick market research on the low and high end for comparison. Ask what's included and how long she will stay with you. Negotiate and make the deal ahead, pay when her service is done.
