My first trip to BKK in 2005, I stayed in the Nana hotel, as a single guy at the time I felt like all my birthday's & Christmas's had come at once, especially when the Nana club kicked out at 3:00 in the morning and the car park was full of about 200 girls.

Never understood why when I went in feb one year the freelancers were all over me, I couldn't walk 3 feet... visited in june of same year, got largely ignored. And no, I didn't weigh more 2nd time around. They get more picky in off season? It isn't to say i got totally ignored, but there was a clear difference in how they acted.

I have not been in Thailand for a long time......20 years. When I was last in Bangkok the Nana disco in the Nana Hotel (Soi 4) had lots of free lancers. At closing time they and the dancers from the Nana Entertainment Plaza would flood the parking lot and Soi 4. It was a feeding frenzy. So many girls. I’ve been looking at some of the KZbin Thailand videos lately and I’ve never seen it mentioned. What happened to it? I would love to know. Pulled many a good one at closing time back in the day.

book one night separately, then walk around to find where you like best. Tip: Always ask to see the room first no matter where you go in Asia. I liked my stay at a place called Heaven@4. Very clean, stylish, and a stone's through from NANA plaza.

15:05 I certainly know what I'll be having for dinner tonight. Mickey D's in Japan sells double-meat versions of all burgers after 17:00 for 100 yen / 30 baht more. The Quadruple Cheese Burger is one grease-bomb that is well worth the money. And probably 25 grams of protein. Sign me up!

I went to the Stumble Inn Bar about 3 months ago. Ordered a Chang beer. 140 Baht. Now that is a rip off. Any body else had the same experience or is that the normal price for beer in soi4 now ?

I agree the price in Soi 4 is too high for bottled beer especially in the beer bars where you don't get much to look at. The Stumble Inn does have pints of draught tiger for 99 baht on football matches and some other times which is ok value.

I've just had 6 weeks touring Thailand I spent 10 days in Hua-in. love it there. Fab beaches, restaurants, people are great, excellent bars right on the sea front. Accommodation less costly too. If you want to 'Party' go to Soi 80 or Soi Bintabaht. It's got everything. Great night market, train station too. 3 hours on a fab bus from BKK 315 BHT Excellent air con bus with reclining seats and everything.

The truth is the air in Bangkok is bad year round. Only it is getting more attention recently due to social media getting pissed off with th smog and haze. Going for a few days is fine but staying long term is not so good for your health.
