Pattaya Buddhist Temple Complex. Wat Yansangwararam. Thailand

Wat Yansangwararam in Pattaya is a large Buddhist temple complex with gardens and lakes. The temples are just 14 kilometres from Jomtien and 20 kilometres from Pattaya City. It's worth a trip if you are visiting Pattaya and you want somewhere quiet to relax.

Beautiful grounds, statues and structures in the temple area, including the temple itself. Thank you for not feeding the monkeys as they would expect it from other visitors. And when they don't get their treats, they can become quite aggressive. Another video of yours I thoroughly enjoyed. 👍

Hey Heath, it looks as if you have found a new subject of interest to the folks who watch you. Something about or around Pattaya/ Jomtien that is quiet and peaceful and uncrowded. I’ve been to that Temple Yan, many times, my Thai girlfriend just spent 6 days there as a female monk, she wore white as do all the women. Many other women were staying in the complex also. She finds it very peaceful, they pray and do meditation, giving merit 😊 Yes there are many monkeys on the walk to Wat Mondop, with amazing views ❤ We had a car so maybe next time you go!

@@oneendofthailand yes, I know that Heath. 😊. I’ll probably fly there from Bangkok rather than drive. I’ve always found land crossings to be a hassle. I’ve never crossed from Thailand to Cambodia though. Maybe it’s easy.

I looked into going there when my sister visited a few years back, it was a hassle. We settled for Phanom Rung in Bariram, which was a direct bus from Pattaya and we stayed at the Eireann Hotel near the site.
