The first stop for any falung coming to live in thailand so be go to Bangkok look for a homeless falungs and ask him how he got here living under a bridge in Bangkok answer his darling and her Thai boyfriend cleaned him our of every last dollar I have seen this for my own eyes twice one falung about 30 the other well over 60 there home country's embassy didnt even help these guys so so sad I actually stoped and talked to the older falung for about an hour he told me h a horror story he was begging for food in soi 4 lying in the gutter always leave 20 or 30 k in your home country in case things go pair shaped I know I know your thinking this won't happen to me that's exactly what the guy said to me when he was begging for food in soi 4

Well done again Daz another great one . I think the main lesson any of us can take out of the last 2 vlogs is "DON'T TAKE A BAR GIRL AS A GIRLFRIEND ". I myself on my first trip had 2 bar girls ask me to be their boyfriend which I turned down . One of them asked me straight out in the Bar, which I politely replied , "I didn't come here for that " . I think I upset her but that's business for her and I was on holiday . I just wanted some fun .

Hmmm! I prefer the vlog which is like a pod cast but better. Those slowmos past the ladies are fun. The motor bike ride is a highlight. A true blog is just words. I listen to a couple of economic/political ones but they are specific. Dazz is true entertainment. Not saying it won't work just why I like this format.

This is the 2nd video I watched and you are 100% on point. If one is looking for a wife, stick with the over 30s with a regular job, preferably elsewhere in Thailand, even if the girl doesn't work in the industry, she is too close to it. If the plan is a wife, use the same process as you are hiring someone for a job, check her resume, make sure she never worked in the business, also check her family cause you are married to them, if they have financial problems, you also have them, if there is drama, like a demanding mom, you will have problems. IMO, the best wives have a career(not on a bar of course) and you want to keep her on her career, support her professional life and you got yourself a winner.

I really am learning a great deal about the way we will be treated and what roll we play in the game of chance that is relationships in Pattaya. Truthfully it is a bit daunting to me. Surrounded by professional "cash extractors" working independently or in concert to relieve me of my funds. Figure out what your budget is and stick to your budget no matter what. Be pleasant about it but demonstrate right away the limits of what you can afford. She won’t believe you for a long time. Just stick to your budget and she will figure what she is going to do with you. You are ultimately looking for someone compatible with you and that has to start with living within your means.

I think following the chart at 16:56 - 17:04 is the best move: hire 2 STs per week. If you must have a GF, a woman who works a normal job is a must and that most likely means staying away from Pattaya and Bangkok. A normal GF can have absolutely no connection with the nightlife or massage (with the possible exception of the uniformed places). Taking a prostitute (bar girls, most masseuses) as a GF is a stupid move that will ruin your retirement. Even if you bumped it up to 3 - 5 STs/week, you'll come out far, far ahead financially - and have peace and quiet if you don't botch up how you do the STs.

I have guys here who have divorced, lost wives to ill health who have to have a female with them. They need the company. I think many guys going to Pattaya are the same. And possibly thinking about being unwell and needing someone. I don't see myself in either of these situations but who knows given time or meeting a lady that changes those thoughts. In the mean time Soi Honey or the poon, GM clubs and a Gik or 2 will sort me out I think.

@@onedge1176 - Question, I've seen "Gik" a few times now. What does the word/acronym mean? I think the matter of "dying alone" is too often thrown about in the manosphere. I've known couples who have been married for 50+ years. One spouse pre-deceases the other. Ergo, the surviving spouse dies alone. I know, I know - children and grand children. Your children should by then be adults with families of their own. In Pattaya and Bangkok it's common for 20-year-old girls to be with men in their 50s, 60s, and even 70s. So what happens if such a man takes ones of these as his girlfriend? When she's in her 40s and 50s, she's going to want to enjoy her life and still do things - not push an old man in a wheelchair around, be a nurse, or a home health aide. A woman's sex drive peaks in her 40s and 50s. The older man will be struggling to keep up with her. He's not the 17 - 25-year-old version of himself when sex was all he wanted to do. Maybe, I'm wrong, but certainly Western women will not go for that at all unless they're sitting on a huge inheritance and waiting for the old man to finally pass into the great beyond. Very many women are mercenary and just want to live their lives on Easy Mode. We used to speak about "mailing it in" or "phoning it in." Today, even that is too much effort. It's more like "txt it in." Exactly as I wrote it, because it's just too much effort to write out "text."

Think Gik rather than GF, that way you keep your independence and avoid supporting some canny girls family.

@@RonDevito Thais use Giks (occasional regular Girlfriend) as a convenient non live in mistress. Most Giks arent set up in a House / Condo / Apartment by the guy. The Gik is usually on call in a regular schedule that can vary. The whole arrangement can vary, the particular Gik can be servicing a number of guys. There no rules, its entirely up to the guy and Gik. A good arrangement if the girl is attractive and a good performer, so long as the guy isnt a dopey schmuck and loses control of his budget.

I did not want to be yelled at by some maitre d or a bouncer about not having a membership card. Especially if they were talking in Thai. Also good tips and advice about a possible relationship in Pattaya. Fall in LUST with a Bar or GoGo girl for 3 days Maximum. Fall in LOVE later on with a Girl outside of the red light zone.👍

I lived in Pattaya for 6 years and had a live in girlfriend twice both times for about 6 months Yes it was a mistake But as far as costs go besides your monthly allowance for them is the cost for everything and I mean everything else It will be more than double what you pay for only yourself I am talking about food beer toiletries clothes the girlfriend will spend or at least try to spend much more than you expect since it isn’t their money it was always a constant battle and was the primary reason for letting them go Stay single have a Gik or two you will be better off and happier too

I was there back in 2007 and it was much better like everything else in life 🙂 1000 Bath was sufficiently covering for a LT. Attitudes were better and less crowded. Enjoy your time gentleman, don't ever take them personally, remember it's all business with not rubbing into your face that's all
