I like the stripes vertically down the arm! Sometimes you just have to make a garment even if there’s no where to go! Have a fancy dinner in your own house haha I made a midi length velvet cocktail dress in June haven’t worn it outside the house yet but it’s boiling hot here right now.

LOL complicated yes, but I will actually use lining the front and back pieces. I've done similar with a McCalls pattern and prefer it to knit binding in general. Also here we are going into fall and I will gret so much wear out of that second layer of fabric! You have inspired me to finally make one of these. My first execution wasn't great but am fully confident that the next will be awesome! ;)

Oh yes, the lining front and back is probably the best idea I had, simple and effective - and I have a love hate issue with bindings myself! Good luck with making it - once you get the hang of it, it really is quite straight forward!

@@goblinfruit5937 Absolutely. It looks lovely on some people but the neckline must be too wide to conceal a bra for a normal woman with boobs. I did like your white version though - it really suited you and looked a lot better.
