Pattern Work At Lakeview New Years Eve

I was lucky to finally get a hangar at LakeView I also live off of Lake Lewisville between Lakeview and Hidden Valley

Makes me want to go up again! It has been grey, low clouds, wet and poor visibility where I live for 2 months now. I notice you do your short final approach in kind of an angle to the center line, is that required there for noise?

yes I try to stay over the lake, they have just change to a right pattern for 36, I could do a longer approach but there is nowhere other than the runway to land if you loos an engine.
