Pat the NES Punk lol took John 10 hours of installing before it crashed lol thats terrible for something in the year 2017 taking 10 hours to install. I've downloaded emulators for snes, sega, nintendo, and ps1 on my phone and was playing games in about 5 mins for like $5 that i paid to support the developers. Why would anyone buy this shit?

Under the GPL license, which I assume Kodi is based on, software can be redistributed for a profit, but the original license cannot be changed, and all changes to that software are still under that same license, keeping it open source for anyone who buys or downloads it. Selling the hardware as they do is definitely rogue, but selling open source software isn't dodgy, especially if people know it's open source and will think to download it free somewhere else.

just bought a regular raspberry pi 3 and installed everything myself. Got a custom SNES case with a fan. I'm not savvy on coding or anything and I figured it out. I even know how to overclock and edit configurations now. Try it yourselves instead of being lazy and buying freeware.
