I see in recent years Patti is relying more on her powerful head voice instead of those crazy high belts she use to do when she was much younger. This is the best I heard her in years. Her chest voice is much darker and course. Age is a bitch but maturity is golden. Well done Patti!

If you did than you guys are idiots....plus she been out her prime for years.... some of her best performances were after her prime anyway....just appreciate her while she's here... because she still doing her thing and she still sings better than the guys and girls in the music industry today.... she's a living legend!!!!

Well she hasn't been out of her prime for that many years, just these last few years have shown her voice very different, I agree with you a voice doesn't supposed to be the same because of her age, if people stay the same that wouldn't be life now wouldn't it, but just like you said it's just a beautiful thing anyway just to see her still looking good alive and well, I for one and many people still love her because they know what the real deal is,

I rarely like to hear other singers sing songs that they did not originally record. Ms. La Belle is one of the few exceptions. She honored the song in the most glorious way. She and choir were simply magical.
