At 78 years old, Ms. Patti Labelle sounds phenomenal. Typically- the singing voice significantly change as one grows older. Given that fact, Labelle's voice has changed. Yet- I assiduously hear a great range, superb pitch, al-libs, runs and riffs, and excellent breathing to sustain those high notes. May God resume favoring Labelle as she mature like vintage fine wine..

I love patti she is my Gemini twin n I know she older do u think if she rest and get with a professional to help her bring her vice back to its original sound because u can tell she wants to hit those notes she seem like she’s straining at times because she using her head voice a lot so I think she gets tired quick . She still sounds great but we all know the strength her voice had in her prime . I jus want to see her belt out one note like she use too I wonder if she knows a difference in her voice . Ur thoughts ?

Does this mean she completely lost her voice? No. Especially here, because at this concert she became sick, and that affected her too. You can’t expect her at nearly 80 for her to have the same sweeping range that she did at 40. Y’all are just over critical of this woman who is just living her life and using her gift.
