This woman IS rock and roll, as much as her South Jersey compatriot Bruce Springsteen. If she hadn't existed, someone would have had to invent her. This song is one crucial proof of that... RIP CBGBs. I saw many shows there, including the Ramones, Patti and Richard Hell, and met her former friend Allen Lanier there one night. I will miss the place. There has never been another like it and never will be.
