One thing I recently learned is I always chase someone who will spoil me because I was spoiled by someone as a kid and that person was a safe harbor for me from my abuser growing up. It's actually a coping mechanism for me to chase someone who will spoil me because my brain is thinking "they'll keep me safe!" but I never knew that until this year. The bad thing about being spoiled or babied is that you tend to be enabled and they tend to be condescending to you. Realizing I am spoiled has been eye-opening because it explains why I always end up chasing people who eventually start condescending me. 😅 But my brain didn't know that, it was just trying to keep me safe. 😊

​@@cali-tm1ecMine has always been more of a "Take care of me, spoil." Totally stemming from childhood abuse. Looking for a protector. I always get really annoyed by condescending people and now I understand why, it's reminiscing on "they won't take me as I am" it usually leads to me leaving. I'm very thankful to know these things now, otherwise a person keeps repeating the same wrong moves.

I like Shannon a lot but fixing up Shannon will be a challenge because Shannon is a depressive and she drinks which takes her soul deeper into negativity. She may be fun and funny when she drinks but she struggles with depression I believe. Shannon needs healthy engagement and outlets with consistency and to completely abstain from alcohol. I would like to see Shannon take a break from the show for awhile, move to a smaller home on the beach, and lose some of the trappings of wealth, stay off social media for a time and refocus and keep up with volunteer work.
