How many cables are in each of the stays? On the PMH1 Port Mann bridge the numbers varied from 35-75 depending upon the distance from the towers, the farther the larger number of coated cables per stay. .

@@pitrow66 I think it’s 80 cable stays, from 21 to 63 degrees, but not sure.

I know I harp on it, but the rusty components really kill the charm of seeing our tax dollars spent like that. So much easier and cost effective to treat every piece and stud in a controlled factory setting. sigh….nice flying though. 👍
