@@rastafarianWeedsmoke no kidding, that goes for any type of relationship, friendship, family: they teach youth to just walk away when something is not perfect, blame all your problems on someone in your past, and loyalty has long been forgotten and devalued. Is it so wrong to have just that one person that you know beyond a shadow of a doubt is not going anywhere? To not have to wonder if they will leave you anytime you fight. To go through life with the same person is one luxury that you sure can not buy, and is more valuable than all the gold in the world.

I love country music of my Dad and Mom's age as well as George Strait, Alan Jackson, Allison Kraus, and other men and women of traditional country music. Patty does Jim Lauderdale a great honor with her take on this. But hiring Jones for the harmony was the first stroke of genius, made possible because "country radio" wouldnt play him at the time and this was a chance at a hit. And then, beyond that, it's impossible to account for the 2d stroke: the magic, the bone chilling and timeless quality he adds with that humble background harmony highlighting her lead, filled with everything he ever learned about music down the ages. Ranks with all the greatest harmony performances, from the Carters Monroe and Stanleys to Tammy and George's
