Two questions: How does this work? Yeah, I realize you probably press B or something to activate the drift, but how does the actual mechanic function? What’s with the squares that appear behind the Patty Wagon when the drift is active.

Holding R for a period of time while holding a direction charges a drift boost. Letting go when a certain color is visible temporarily increases max speed. The squares were just for testing. A much more polished version is shown off in the release video.
