Yes that’s right! My first time going from Barcelona to another Schengen destination.

In my opinion, airport lounges are already overrated. People who have this benefit without paying for it should be able to enjoy a better experience. Currently, most of the ones I have been to are never completely clean, they are overcrowded and there is no variety of food. So far, the only one I can say was a pleasant experience was in Menorca. In my case, having the possibility of entering for free thanks to my bank account, I often prefer not to enter to avoid the dirt and being crowded with many people in small spaces.

Thank you for your comment. I totally get where you are coming from. Some of them are disappointing. However for all the bad lounges there have been a few that I have been thankful for, some of which will feature in the channel in the coming weeks. I guess it depends how many different airports you will travel to - if your regular route has poor lounges and that’s mostly what you will experience then it’s not much of a benefit. That’s interesting about Menorca, I’ll have to check that out at some point.
