A man whose career spans so many generations. I was too young for the initial wave, but as a kid I loved his wave of success in the 70s. Then as an adult with his great recordings in the 80s. A living legend that you just knew was going to entertain for a lifetime as you watch this appearance on Sullivan.

This Canadian legend also wrote "My way" as a huge come back hit for Frank Sinatra!

No he didn't, "My way" is a french song, he didn't write crap, he did translate the french song to English, but that's about it, "my way" was already a song.
@Ministoriesforfun11 ай бұрын
Didn't write crap, Comme d'habitude "My Way" is a song popularized in 1969 by Frank Sinatra set to the music of the French song "Comme d'habitude" composed by Jacques Revaux with lyrics by Gilles Thibaut and Claude François and first performed in 1967 by Claude François. 😂
@Herobello714111 ай бұрын
@@Ministoriesforfun the english lyrics are completely different from the french, wdym "translated"? Also you don't need to comment about the same thing two times 😂

I just saw Paul Anka live at the Mohegan Sun area on June 1, 2024. At 82 years old, WOW - What a GREAT SHOW. If you get the chance to see him live, "you won't believe the talent this guy has after over 60 years in the business. Paul Anka says he doesn't do it for the money, but for the passion he has in still singing and performing. Oh by the way, how does he stay so healthy and active at his age. He told us he exercises and eats right. Kind of a Role Model for all of us too.

I heard a local radio replay American top 40 from January 20th 1976 today and he was in the top 10 with “Good morning yesterday “…a fitting tribute to this video,…thanks for showing! Have a great day!
