Greetings to my next tribute, this time about Dune, specially about Paul Atreides. I can't even describe how I fell in love with this character. Paul has such an interesting story and character that I just had to make a video about him. And I can't wait to see how his story will continue.
Maybe I liked him so much because he reminds me of Anakin Skywalkers in some ways :D

This real sleeper awakened long ago and it is a process. Cut off my waist length hair to save on water. Paul is the one, but he is not the one that you would want. Unlike the 1984 movie might say, Paul wont bring peace and prosperity. Instead, he will bring the death of BILLIONS, and that was only the first step in a long road of death and stagnation. However, he will not be able to stomach this whole thing, forcing another to take his place as a God Emperor.

Uhm, the whole point of Dune especially when one gets to Dune Messiah the 2nd book is that "The One" is not a good thing. The author said “I wrote the Dune series because I had this idea that charismatic leaders ought to come with a warning label on their forehead: "May be dangerous to your health." Paul hates "the one" thing Herbert the author hates "The one" concept. etc

It's slightly more complex, since later his purpose was to rule for the good of all, but that good was to basically rule as a monstrous god-tyrant for thousands of years, teaching humanity to never accept leaders like him ever again. However, he got sickened with the Jihad (which was only the beginning), rejecting that destiny, forcing his son to take up the burden. Still, you're right about the fact that him being "the one" isn't him bringing peace and prosperity but instead brutality and stagnation.
