😮Well, my Spotify wrapped hit. Paul and his band were my number 1 artists. That's saying something since I'm a .0001% world-wide listener. 😢 I thank God everyday for music and the baddasses who make it. Last year Dax was my top artist. Good stuff this thing called life. And KZbin too, best in the biz. Hmm Spotify and KZbin should have a baby.

Since covid started especially, he's been putting up a lot of live solo videos. Gotta admit I didn't know how well his singing style would carry over to solo acoustic performance, but some of those are now my new favorite versions. On the other hand, the band I saw him with (Hot Grease Fire iirc) and all the backing musicians I've seen him partner with on YT (The Texas Gentlemen!) are so fire I wouldn't want to miss that in a live performance either. When I saw him in KC last year they played Eminence Front. Eminence Front!! The live energy is so good, definitely one of my favorite shows in years. Here's to an end to this covid BS so he can get back on the road! But I also wouldn't mind social distancing just a little longer if it means Paul has time for a solo acoustic album of new songs...

Cambridge RatMom Yeah! Here's what I got I'm still drivin' When's this break gon' come You bide my pickin' With a big ol' timpani drum So there's hail before the storm, and like my cousin's baby was born, Some say I'm a wild man, Drink too much nectar from the cone Still drivin' When's this break gon' come You bide my pickin' With a big ol' timpani drum Holy school employs a'me, I learned my stride and stepped away, I learned to sing harmony, and go playin' on the stage Still drivin' When's this break gon' come You bide my pickin' With a big ol' timpani drum Still drivin', I'm still drivin' I'm still drivin' I'm still drivin' oh yeah! I'm still, I'm a' still, I'm still, I'm a'still drivin' Still Still Still I'm a'still drivin' Still, I'm a'still I'm still, I'm a'still drivin' Still Still Still, a'still drivin'
