I don't know if you're Johnny Cash. I don't know if you're Marty Robbins. I don't know if you're Tom Jones. I've played this piano rhythm for years, suddenly I hear it in a song. I guess what they say is true, if you don't use it you lose it. Now, what is that amazing sound about 3/4 way through the song. I don't know, is it somebody singing? Is it a steel guitar on acid? Is it Angels come down from heaven to sing with you!? Truly captivating, spellbinding, wonderful! This is a great song. It should be number one on every chart. And those dancing girls is just beautiful. That's all I can say, beautiful dance. Much love from Amarillo Texas. Oh and by the way, we have a Broken Spoke here also.

Woke up and can't get back to sleep because this guy, right here... taken me places I never knew I had been before... such a mashup... like Waylon Jennings and Hank Jr, were a rich and delish two tier choc-O-late cake, Glen Cambell is the decadent creamy whipped icin that cakes been dipped, flipped, and rubbed down in, w/a few sprinkles added on, and Johny Cash sittin pretty like a bright red cherry on top... take a bite, and the movie Urban Cowboy and the 80's decade starts playin out in your mouth... like, that's what this dude is doin right now. This video should have so many more views - I'm sure others will catch on if they know what's good for 'em. This song, this video, and the entirety of the MY GOSPEL album kicks ass! I have been sharing this video as much as I can. I can't get enough - it captures the essence of the song, but it also has this great balance of playfulness and badassery. Okay I'm gonna watch it again now.
@CusterKit6 жыл бұрын
I love this song too but the video was poorly directed. The "cowboy" dancing should've come in later as a crescendo and he shouldn't be mouthing the words or dancing in the car, it looks corny af. Great concept, bad execution. Also, when are there ever that many hot chicks in a country bar? Give me some average girls and I'll believe it more.
@gatorjester6 жыл бұрын
Agree. Video distracts from the haunting nature of the song.
@mannyrodriquez41915 жыл бұрын
@@CusterKit Going to have to disagree on one of your comments, mouthing in the car is perfect if you know who's riding shotgun with him. Corny AF though? Maybe you should be directing videos. I can see what you mean by dancing kicking it later. By the way it's not called cowboy dancing in Texas, we call it line dancing. Interested on seeing your concept of the video.
@CusterKit5 жыл бұрын
Manny Rodriquez - the ‘cowboy’ dancing I refer to is the riding of the mop handle or invisible bucking bronco. I’ve line danced since I was a child. I appreciate your response and I respect your differing opinion. Also- I already made video for a Paul Cauthen song 😉
