Undoubtedly one of if not the best and deepest sci-fi character there has ever been.

My favourite sci-fi character of all time. Remember him clearly as a child in Blake's 7, he must've left an impression...

Paul Darrow played one of the greatest sci-fi characters of all time. He was JR Ewing from Dallas in space. Rest in Peace, Kerr Avon aka Paul Darrow.

Had he been younger when JK Rowling was planning the movies, he would have been a perfect Snape. His phrasing, his voice. Everything.

He was great for the part. People take theses things so seriously it's only Sci-Fi. He was one of the most interesting characters. It was a great series with good actors, good story and a cool spaceship!

Definitely the most interesting character because you just don’t know if he’s trustworthy and Blake could see that.

Read his books, the "Lucifer" trilogy. Tells the tale of how he survived after the last episode.

Unlike the other B7 actors. Paul Darrow seems to do many interviews about B7, He has become the spokesman for the show. Defending it when nessassary. Although its a shame the other actors do not do many interviews, Darrow is all we need because his interviews are interesting and he comes across so well

Could his many interviews (more than the other cast members) have possibly anything to do with him owning the rights to the show? If this is true, he'd certainly have his best interests at heart to defend it.

Avon is the Tin Man character. Worked well with Vila, the Scarecrow type. "Every silver lining has a cloud" 😂⛅ Every time he kissed Servalan my face cringes and gags like a little kid seeing their parents kiss, can't help it. Oh no and there's the clip!!! 😲😝

@zephranna01 He's great when he reigns it in. Sometimes - and I do love him - sometimes he goes overboard. But when he keeps it subtle he's magnetic! Oh yes!

Do I take it, this wasn't on any of the DVDS? Just goes to prove that people are right who praise the positive aspects of physical media. Yes, they make take up shelf space, but surely when you view the content, the extra capacity of a disc, like a Blu-ray even, equals more enjoyment from the purchase of the product, in this case a sci-fi drama program. Nice upload.

Boucher said how there wasn't a line written for Avon that he didn't change in some way.

It does sound a bit arrogant, but I'm sure he's referring to how he was given a lot of reign by Terry Nation in Avon's development.

Him and Chris Boucher. I think Nation came up with Avon's name, maybe his function, not much more beyond that.
