For PG It’s not so much about being a crazy athlete but more so about developing a smooth game which everyone can develop.

I think the reason for this is both clear, and fascinating - it's the smoothness and beauty of his game. It's the same reason kids love Kyrie, and Iverson before that. The artistry, and physical poetry of the movements of basketball - it's almost halfway between loving an athlete and loving a dancer/musician (the rhythm and improvisation) - awesome!
