This vid makes me miss home. I grew up climbing at Red Rock. I remember bouldering there before I even knew that bouldering was a sport. We used to ditch high school and go bouldering all day around calico basin and Oak Creek Canyon. Thanks for posting this vid.

I remember going out there in the mid-late 90s during the time The Gallery was still being established, and also doing a couple of trad routes...me and my partner couldn't help but notice the extensive bouldering potential up a couple of the canyons and in the general area, and it is quite possible we put up 2 or 3 FAs (V3 at most, probably easier) but I would be hard pressed to say where they exactly were. I have kept the whole area in the back of my mind for over 20 years now and have always wanted to go back...still probably will, but it looks like now the secret is out. Is there any kind of guide out yet for the canyon areas?

I know that paul was a sportiva athlete at the time, they sponsor a bunch of people, but personally i don't like them, I like a softer more asymmetric shoe, but if you like a medium softness and medium asymmetrical shoe with one of the best heels on the planet, that yeah probably.
