Jacqui has a great accent. I love the St Helens twang, part Lancashire with just a hint of Scouse.

That is so strange I thought they would have been close friends with each others phone numbers after the amount of gigs and stuff they did together with the beautiful south. .

She turned from a 6/10 into a 8.5/10. Usually the other way round.a statistical outlier. Good for her. Nice sweet people.

Yeah not sure why, but in my post-Covid-Booster-jab delirium I had an overwhelming desire to drown in this slushy saccharine Nostalgia-fest. Suddenly aching with memories of listening to it most mornings on capital fm on the way to school. I listened to the song again this afternoon and temporarily alleviated my maladies. Funny how music (whatever sort) can be the most powerful elixir of all. And my cursory youtube scrawl reminded me how numerous their hits were. And brought me to interviews like this...Nostalgia is also a powerful thing.

id be shocked if she is a heavy smoker. gotta be careful with a singing voice like that. just ladies from the north of England can sound rugged.

@@stephengreenhill8966 "just ladies from the north of England can sound rugged", say you. Well, that's one way of putting it, but this lass sounds like an ogre after an all nighter on the lash! It has to therefore be a 60 a day Malboro habit. She makes Frank Bruno sound like a pipsqueak...
