There are no Zen masters but there is Zen. There is an enormously thick Ramana Maharshi book I was going to get but then i forgot the title and it was said it was the best one and its not the Talks With Ramana Maharshi one. I couldn't find the title of it again and ther was only a used one as its no longer in print. Thats all I remembered. But I remember reading Talks With Ramana Maharshi and it was the best book I ever read.

Nightmares and actual dreams are fully immersed, active denial of what we are. It's the same thing in a different state as far as I can tell that's what Ramana Maharshi's explanation leads me to think. "I" am not that which is the action figure in the dreaming, no matter what state. It's beautiful really, especially because you can prove you're not that which was immersed in the dream as soon as you wake! Very useful in this regard.
