My favorite JR and Paul Heyman moment was Survivor Series 2001 the immunity battle royal. I’m getting back into wrestling after about a 20 year break. I missed over the top characters like Heyman. The quintessential silver tongued, lovable sleaze ball. You can see him selling snake oil to unwitting rubes in a different era.

If Paul Heyman was actually a good businessman, he would probably go down as the greatest personality in the history of the business.

They bounced off each pretty well. And Heyman really thought through his commentary design. Interesting. I did not realize Paul gives JR that much credibility. He's right about everything in that conversation.

Heyman and JR were an underrated broadcast team. They literally sounded like they despised each other. Especially that one segment on RAW after Austin threw Angle off the stage. I thought they were gonna come to blows.
