Whoever made this film: They knew the damn hell what they were doing... Said it when I saw it first time. There's some artistry in this film at moments and the Garland day in the life script was absolutely perfect for Dredd. Do that but for TV Series and it would strike gold. Shame it's so many years later as Urban and Thirlby were perfectly cast along with this lady from GOT, Headey.

The movie was just too ahead of its time unfortunately. If it came out at a similar time as John Wick and Cyberpunk 2077 it wouldnt have been as underrated

@@bowsersbigbeanburrito If they had similar castiing, same art design, but say Netflix series where each episode is "1 Day In The Life..." ie start middle end in itself along with some loose season long plots intersperced and running time normal per episode eg GOT, it would have been a huge hit. The themes are relevant, and different, the story and action is engrossing and there's combo of nostalgia (80s) and sci-fi future dystopia: It's got it all. Either way the movie is an excellent action piece and one of the best comic adaptations putting art up front along with the story. I rate it very highly and I'm usually very critical of movies.

There's something so beautiful about the slow mo It shows all the bright and beautiful colours in a grey world that seems hopeless and bleak Paul Leonard-Morgan did an excellent job on the music too From the intense action music to the most bliss song I've ever heard
