Paul Lim was never a World Champion in either BDO or PDC but his moment here on the big stage will always live on in darting history. He's still going today at nearly 70yo and can still hit the odd 180 also.

As im writing this comment im playing a video game called "yakuza 6". Long story short. Paul Lim is a guest in the game and in-game, he was said to be the first person to "perfect a game in a major league". I had to see it for myself and here i am, amazed that he could do such a thing

What a respectful crowd back then. Not a peep after the 7th treble 20. Barely a peep after the treble 19. Pandemonium after the 9th dart, as it should be.

There’s nothing wrong with the crowd being hyped for 9 darters in my opinion. It adds to the atmosphere. It’s electric when a dart goes in the T20 for the 9, and it’s followed with “YEAHHHHHH” “YEAHHHHHHH” “YEAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH” What’s a problem is the booing and jeering during shots outs. I don’t think the players would mind the crowd behind them during a 9 dart leg attempt

Darts has evolved into football fans. I personally think that’s the best way darts could of went. Barry Hearn has done a massive job with doing that and the founding memebers of the PDC
