This is one of the greats sides in English football - It really was...And to have Paul Madley was the cherry on the cake. Paul Madley was a class, a class player. Both footed player. He should have replaced Jack Charlton earlier in my opinion. I just wish that Gary Linekar and BBC FOOTBALL FOCUS - gives him a tribute on the program.

i grew up in rochdale late 60 early 70, loads of leeds fans , leeds supporters club in rochdale , i m burnley had cracking games against leeds , i could go on RAY HANKIN BURNLEY LEGEND !!!

Not only was he a totally dedicated footballer and totally dedicated to Leeds United but he played the game totally within the rules and I think only got booked once in 700 games and this in a team that was known (rightly or wrongly) as "dirty Leeds".
