our genetics have not changed
-just over 100 years ago, it had barely been described

-it is a metabolic
disease, caused by
diet & lifestyle
Study of 2 genetically identical populations in
Indianapolis, USA and a city in Nigeria, Africa-which
were historically linked by the slave trade…
Findings:
USA only 2% are
metabolically healthy
-Alzheimers: 2.5X more than
genetically identical
population in Nigeria
Same holds true for those carrying the ApoE4 gene, also
called the Alzheimers gene…
"It only confers higher risk of dementia if you are not
metabolically healthy”
thus, as rate of metabolically
sickness increases, so does
rate of Alzheimers.
The risk of Alzheimers for those with ApoE4 gene is
increasing with time--despite genetics being the same…
Study: carrying ApoE4 gene increased risk of getting
Alzheimers by less than 2X. vs
modern studies that report
risk up 10X or more
-even then, this report showed
increased risk ONLY in those
with small blood vessel disease in their brain-
caused by metabolic disease
Development of dementia is Largely Dependent upon
being metabolically unwell…
Despite the fact that dementia rates are rapidly rising,
while genetics are not changing whatsoever…

My mother in law has vascular dementia yet she is constantly eating carbs!!! No-one is listening to me that she should be doing keto, taking collagen & omega 3, and taking MCT oil. 😢

Interesting, my Great Grandmother and Grandmother both had Dementia, unfortunately I do not know their diets. I am relatively sure my grandmother was not low carb.
