I find dreams fascinating... and who's to say that when you dream of people that have passed, that it isn't really them somehow communicating with you? Maybe it's when we sleep that we are closer to what they are... just consciousness. Maybe it really is John in Paul's dreams. I find that both sad and beautifully comforting. John popping in to see how his friend's doing, and perhaps serving as inspiration for more music... which I think John would get a kick out of, because as he's currently corporeally challenged he can't write music here on Earth. What better way to keep making music then through his old friend and partner?

Paul McCartney has seen basically all of the greatest musicians of the 20th and 21st century. But of all the people in the music industry, the only person to be his equal was John. The day they meet again will be sad for us but will be great for those above us. Love you forever Paul.

@@johntao6822 I responded to this already, I don't know how someone can even say these words. Paul's work will be heard for generations to come, John and George are legends too, but there's no way in hell that Paul can be put behind them artistically, musically, lyrically, or in any other way. I am glad "Get Back" from Peter Jackson gets the record straight for us and for Paul and Ringo about that time and how much love and respect they had for each other. I think it's really sad that they were talked into thinking they had a bad time with their break up coming along, it was such a creative time. Although I know Paul fell into a deep depression afterwards because he really wanted to keep the Beatles together and didn't know what to do without his mates. I remember him talking about how Linda helped him through this difficult time. BUT neither of them was a villain.

Who wouldn't be? If you haven't seen it look up "Carpool Karaoke" with Paul McCartney - it is awesome! James Corden rides around Liverpool with Paul, singing his songs and hearing stories, and seeing the old places he would go, including the barbershop on Penny Lane, and the house that he lived in with his dad, where he and John wrote "She Loves You", and then they went to a pub where the Beatles used to play, and Paul put on a surprise show and people began pouring in off the streets. I mean, they are literally already being forgotten, and their music along with them. Remember when Paul did that song with Kanye West and a ton of kids had no clue who "this old dude" was? Give it 30 years, you'll have to explain who the Beatles were to most people. That's just time; try to romanticize them all you want, but even legends fade, just like everything else.

Not long ago here in LA I was in the hospital. One of the nurses, probably 45ish, great nurse, when I mentioned a Beatles song admitted “I’ve never listened to them”. I obviously told her she should and that didn’t know what she was missing out on … but can you imagine? Never having The Beatles in your life? It just left me dumbstruck.

Deep down we all suspect Paul still loves John & misses him dearly. They were a fantastic writing duo & their songs will endure for many decades to come. Sure he misses George too but John left us in the most inconceivable way, who would think. Check out "Yesterday" the movie, regardless of some critics it's a fun, likeable film. I loved it.

It's hard to even fathom the impact this man has made on the world. His life's work has touched more lives than probably any other musician or band in history, and he still seems to be such a kind, gentle soul. The world would've been a far poorer place had the Beatles never existed, and I feel like we all (myself included) often take for granted just how big a place they have in our lives, whether directly, or via another one of our favourite bands. Thank you for everything, Sir Paul. Truly one of a kind. ❤️
