Stop that nonsense, normie! "Sir Paul" (William) and Lennon were NOT friends. They were bandmates from late 1966-1970 and after the Beatles split up they were bitter music rivals. Paul often talks about his dreams in interviews, meeting his mother, talking to John. He is a prolific dreamer. I find it touching when you look to Imagine "You may say I'm a dreamer, but I'm not the only one"
@terrywest111
@terrywest111 3 жыл бұрын
I find dreams fascinating... and who's to say that when you dream of people that have passed, that it isn't really them somehow communicating with you? Maybe it's when we sleep that we are closer to what they are... just consciousness. Maybe it really is John in Paul's dreams. I find that both sad and beautifully comforting. John popping in to see how his friend's doing, and perhaps serving as inspiration for more music... which I think John would get a kick out of, because as he's currently corporeally challenged he can't write music here on Earth. What better way to keep making music then through his old friend and partner?

I was devastated the morning after John's assassination in 1980... and I was so sad when I learned that George had passed after his long and difficult battle with cancer... and interestingly, both he and John were taken from the world too soon... much too soon. Paul and Ringo have both endured wonderfully and still seem very young in heart and spirit... which is wonderful for those of us -- like myself -- who grew up with them...

@@johntao6822 I responded to this already, I don't know how someone can even say these words. Paul's work will be heard for generations to come, John and George are legends too, but there's no way in hell that Paul can be put behind them artistically, musically, lyrically, or in any other way. I'm more of a fan of John's work, because it suits my taste more, but Paul's work is just as good and timeless in his own style. I am glad "Get Back" from Peter Jackson gets the record straight for us and for Paul and Ringo about that time and how much love and respect they had for each other. I think it's really sad that they were talked into thinking they had a bad time with their break up coming along, it was such a creative time. Although I know Paul fell into a deep depression afterwards because he really wanted to keep the Beatles together and didn't know what to do without his mates. I remember him talking about how Linda helped him through this difficult time. BUT neither of them was a villain.

James Corden rides around Liverpool with Paul, singing his songs and hearing stories, and seeing the old places he would go, including the barbershop on Penny Lane, and the house that he lived in with his dad, where he and John wrote "She Loves You", and then they went to a pub where the Beatles used to play, and Paul put on a surprise show and people began pouring in off the streets. molly tsanadis There is a song (by another band written by another artist) that Paul said that it made him cry the first time he heard it. Subsequently over the years it still causes his eyes to well up to this day whenever he hears it. It's amazing that someone who is responsible for authoring and composing either in part, or totality, some of the most beautiful songs ever written can be moved to tears by another master. That song lies across the pond somewhere in a place that God only knows.
