It's also the name of a single-celled organism. It's a fairly common word, certainly in the sciences.

Amoeba also has a very nice KZbin channel, James. There's a long-runningseries called "What's In My Bag" where famous artists (mostly musicians) walk through the huge Amoeba store, take some of their favorite records and movies and then talk about their choices, often extensively.

I like the whole Egypt Station LP including Fuh You. I don't like the fact that my sleeve has fallen apart, even after a very few playings. So if the new coloured vinyl is NOT gatefold, i'm happy about that. Rockboy you're very cute!

I'd stick by my album review of the album to be honest. I like it but it's not amazing for me and thought NEW was a lot better

rockboy680 Definitely thought it was a good album but I would have to agree that New was something outstanding in my opinion. One of my favorite MCCartney albums down to the cover art.

Which store did you buy it from? And "Get Started" & "Nothing For Free" were the two bonus tracks from the green band, those two should had been on the original album. "Get Started" is a great track.

One time pressing..yea right just like the exclusive orange and blue vinyl was on his web sight, the green band cd bonus was get started and nothing for free.

I bought the original colored vinyl too! And wanted to get Egypt Station 2 on vinyl so bad, but I am not going to pay that much for the traveller's edition so I got this version. I thought this was going to be a triple gatefold, like the original. The original gatefold had 3 spaces that you could put records in. Why not stick with that? Just got the black vinyl for this version tho. Never even saw a place to actually buy the colored one.

Really dont know why they didnt stick with the triple gatefold as it works so much better. And the original with the triple gatefold was cheaper

it's cool that you've got a copy of the deluxe edition but £60 is a mad high price - using radiohead as an example they put out a deluxe of one of their albums a couple of years ago on triple vinyl with a cool triple gatefold and i think i paid £32.99 for a limited colour version with the standard black being something like £25 ---so how can paul justify charging £60 - not sure if he has input into the pricing or if it's all the record company but if they're gonna ask a premium price it's only right to make it a triple gatefold and to include a couple of nice posters and some stickers at least - maybe a live dvd i don't know - 'specially with paul being a super rich billionaire it seems kind of gross to be ripping people off at this point - not to be too negative here though - like you say hopefully it will stay limited and keep its value for the people who have bought a copy (8
