@@danieljodrey8863 On this album, it was all Paul. I know Linda played keyboards and did backing vocals on his world wide tours, but I don't know about on albums. You can easily Wikipedia Paul's albums and it should show each musician, and what instrument for each song.

Paul's 29 year marriage to his wife Linda was so special. They were such a beautiful love story. Sadly, she past of cancer in '98. She was only 56. We all mourned for Paul's loss.

My older sister had her picture taken by my little sister as Paul's SUV with window down and stopped so they could get the picture. I saw my 70 yr old sister act like a teenager! She was so hyped and excited that during the show she stood singing every song with Paul. My brothers in-law are guitarists and wanted her to sit down but she wouldn't! Music trànsported her back to àll the memories she had during that time of the late 1960s. ❤️🎶✌️

Paul was and still is a human musical note who has been making music constantly for 6 decades now and is always worth a listen. His work with the Beatles was his best But his solo work, especially with Wings, his band from the 1970s, is stellar. Try Band On the Run, Let Me Roll It, Too Many People and Uncle Albert / Admiral Halsey. He has hundreds of good songs and at least 50 legitimate all time great songs, he is that good, amongst the 10 most important musical beings ever on Planet Earth. Enjoy! 🎸

Paul has an extensive solo catalog of wonderful music that's worth diving into. Paul McCartney isn't just the most prolific and commercially successful Beatle, but he is easily the most talented in my opinion. Lennon gets the accolades, but Paul was always the driving force of the Beatles, to my mind. Nice reaction! 😉

Paul's melodies are better than anything "Tin Pan Alley" ever put out; sheer genius. Lennon was a superb wordsmith. Combine them with Harrison, a 1st rate guitarist, (and songwriter) and Ringo one of the best drummers in Rock and Roll, and that is why many consider the Beatles the greatest Rock and Roll band.

This was not a Wings song, as Paul did all the instruments himself. (Linda did all the backup vocals.) It was from his first solo album right after leaving the Beatles, which was released at roughly the same time as "Let It Be." It is definitely one of Paul's finest and most beautiful solo songs.

You probably know my first guest tonight, because he's PAUL McCARTNEY! " A two minute spontaneous standing ovation follows. Paul never released the song as a single. It was only available on his eponymous " McCartney " album. However, it received huge airplay on radio stations around the world. Just because he could, he played piano, organ, rhythm and lead guitars, bass, drums and vocals. A gutsy love song.

This song is about his beautiful love for his soulmate, Linda. It was one of the most wonderful love stories of all time. They were together for three decades and they were head over heels for each other. Her death from cancer in the late nineties was probably crippling to him for at least a period of time. It’s very poignant to see love like that. Unfortunately, it’s rare, especially among celebrities. Nice reaction. 🌺✌️

I loved this song for years, and yet...something you said at the end that made me realize something new about this song. This is a pretty muscular ballad when you get down to it. A "power ballad" maybe. Certainly it's not one of those gentle, "pretty" ballads. I know maybe not everyone would agree with that assessment, but assuming there's a point to that, you have to say the lyrics are very vulnerable. That contrast of strength and vulnerability might have a lot to do with what makes this song so great.

I grew up listening to English-language music. I love very much: Beatles, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Genesis. I have not listed all of them. Pink Floyd is number 1 for me!!! Strange. For me, the best music was created in the 60-70 years. Paul McCartney has more cool songs. Everyone's taste is different - you can't argue. My favorite Paul Songs: Band on the run, Ram, Dear friend, Monkberry Moon Delight, Nineteen Hundred And Eighty Five, Love is song, Beware my love. I started to list and realized how many there are. I advise you to listen to some of these.

Lovely reaction. But yeah, growing up as a Beatles fan I was always amazed by Paul's voice since even the early stuff. You should hear him doing Long Tall Sally in the early Beatles oh, it's just mind-blowing. Another one that happened later during the Beatles along with so many really but for some reason this song just jumped into my mind, oh darling.. It kind of has a similar quality. But yeah when they broke up and he released this album, this was immediately one of my first favorite songs from it. It's all just so good
