Unfortunately, the voice is no longer the same as it once was, but you have to appreciate what it does anyway, and sometimes the emotion that is transmitted in a song is more important than the perfection of the voice, in my opinion. :)

Notice how he starts this song, and within the first bar of the song he is in a minor key and he is making it work seamlessly, very impressive. Keep in mind everything on this track is done by Paul... George Martin is not standing around to give suggestions on the arrangement.
