Paul played without looking because the music was his and flowed naturally from him but Billy is trying to mimic the real Paul .Billy is a very talented musician but not the natural song writer .There was only one genuine Paul and he could not be replaced

Watch the Penny Lane video when Paul is handed the bass guitar and grabs it as if he was right handed and then catches himself and switches to left handed and then proceeds to freak out. Not sure if anyone else has noticed this before.

As a 40 year GUTIAR player in jazz music it’s a dead giveaway. With the positioning of the GUTIAR the tightness of Paul’s chords and proper pluck positioning Billy’s lose fingered chords are typical of majority player Wow great find ! ❤

Yes, I believe that Paul died in September 1966. However it is not clear that it was a car crash. Might have been some thing more sinister but the car crash is the cover that’s used. RIP Paul. we remember you

I've watched the Paul live Yesterday clips and you can see all sorts of mannerisms that Faul doesn't or can't do. Also watch early TV interviews with Paul and you will notice a completely different presence and personality.

What I've noticed is that the 'early' Paul gets emotional playing the song (while trying to hide it), whereas version number 2 of Paul doesn't.

As a guitarist you don't change your style. You work hard to develop your style, not developing it then changing it. This is 1000% solid evidence that a replacement has happened. The real Paul had a playing style for all instruments he played. Another thing I noticed. Paul suddenly became a brilliant pianist. You can tell that Billy has been trained to play. You can see that Lennon has not been trained to play piano. What surprised me is that others can't see what is so obvious.

I have to admit, I've always been fascinated by this topic. One thing I have always wondered was: if Paul really did die and was replaced by Billy Shears, wouldn't the truth have come out during the many legal procedures after the breakup? Very easy to note that Shears is naturally right handed. I've tried to play left, practiced for quite a while, but even after several months, It was still a nightmare. But I guess for Billy Boy, money was a great motivator. My Father saw them both play, and was always astounded that it wasn't obvious to more people.

In the book billy goes into having a difficult time playing lefty until he summoned Paul’s spirit through ritual and was possessed by JPM basically and after that he was able to play lefty.

I saw a KZbin short of the Beatles from the Get Back movie and in the scene I saw, “Paul” is talking to John when all of a sudden Ringo starts playing with the feedback and it annoys “Paul“ so he screams at him, but when he screams, he completely loses the British accent and sounds like a completely different person. he was talking like Paul with John, which makes the switch very obvious.

It doesn't look like Paul when he supposedly joined Wings. His whole face changed & his expression is drawn. Definitely not the cute Paul I remember & surely a diff hairstyle can't alter your facial structure. Comparing this guy to the guy from the Coming Up vid & Waterfalls vid, well, he looks like a different one to me. Also the voice is weaker while performing Yesterday & when Paul sang he owned the song & music was in his blood. How on earth have we all been fooled for SO long is beyond me & if the real Paul is gone we must cherish his memory.

Thanks to this video, it really noticed the difference of the fingers,, positioning and the plucking. Pls watch also the video of Till There Was You,, PJM used his fingers while Billy used a pick in playing the bass and always looking at the bass chord like an amateur. But i admired Billy for learning to play the guitar and Bass lefthand though he is truly a right-handed, Billy is a good Piano player and a very good replacement.
