I was there!!! The best show I've ever seen in my life (and I've seen many...), it's indescribable only anyone who's ever witnessed a performance by Paul McCartney knows and his voice was in top form! Paul in Rio, Maracanã stadium 1990...

Paul it's such an amazing musician It is impossible to choose one from all his different albums Chaos And Creation, RAM, McCartney II, Tug Of War, Flaming Pie and Flowers In The Dirt are truly gold And without even choosing their albums with Wings because there are also a lot of good albums

Very Good album, in some ways underrated, but his best solo album in my opinion is RAM! I do like this version of "We got Married"!

very underrated and very good live IMO. Wow what a voice he had - even at age 48 and beyond. People may forget that today (2024).

My favorite version is on the album "tripping the live fantastic", everything is great in that version, the band sounds powerful and he sings it perfectly, better than the studio version. That version is amazing. And that album has some good versions from other songs from"flowers in the dirt" too, like "rought ride" "figure of eight" "my brave face" "this one", I think all those tracks are better live than in studio.

@@pelgervampireduck agree - To me, FITD is so over produced. A song like The Lovers That Never Were has 2 demos (rude studio and Abbey Road recording studio) where he sings the hell out of that song. The studio demo may be one of his top 50 vocal performance ever. But WGM was always good live. I saw the Flowers tour 2x when I was a a lad
@pelgervampireduck3 ай бұрын
@@MyMaria43 I listened to a raw mix of "we got married", it was supposed to be "rought" but it sounded amazing. not the demo, it was the same final take that ended on the album but without overproduction, it sounded great, like "WHY DOESN'T THE WHOLE ALBUM SOUND LIKE THIS???". I think you can find it here on youtube if you search for "we got married rought mix" or something like that. it sounds so much more natural, organic, less processed, full, deep rich sound.

@@pelgervampireduck thanks! I will check it out. On the same subject, I also think OTG is over produced but not as much as Flowers.

OMG! How can't anyone see he is not Paul McCartney??
@pelgervampireduck3 ай бұрын
He is Paul McCartney, the legend is just that, a legend. After investigating it my personal conclusion is The Beatles invented the legend themselves, it's a joke, they made fun of people that looked for "clues" and hidden meanings in their songs, videos and album covers. It's the same real Paul as always.

I think Epstein told him to say “we want to carry on with a song called …” and he was still using it thirty years later.
@pelgervampireduck10 ай бұрын
they used to say that a lot, "we want to carry on with a new song, from our new LP" and John joked "Beatles 5 or 6, I don't know, I don't have it" haha.
